Kent is a highly motivated design and development leader with nearly 20 years of design and development experience, including 10 years of experience leading teams to create and execute multi-story retail flagships, luxury environments (including retail and residential), specialty retail formats, department store formats, and even virtual, immersive experiences. Kent is a NY state registered architect with a Master's degree in architecture and design from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in architecture and psychology from Yale University.
In his current role at NARS cosmetics as the Executive Director of Global Store Design, Visual Merchandising, and Integrated Store Experience, he has led a multi-discipline team with some exciting achievements, including:
Design and Development of 150 free-standing stores, launch of the brand in key markets like China, 500+ specialty counters,10,000+ open sell locations, and events with responsibility for budget, timeline, and quality
Design and Creation of three distinct physical store concepts and four unique virtual store experiences
Design and development of unique, branded visual merchandising solutions in 5000+ quantities with oversight of budget, timeline, and quality management for many different consumer environments.
Development of the NARS Healthy and Sustainable Material program, including the pilot of the first sustainable free-standing store in Malaysia and an audit of brand-processes with recommended course corrections.
